Introduction

Music is my language.

I'm Belt One. For ten years I've sung my way from gospel choirs and garage rehearsals to festival main stages — writing songs about belonging that work whispered or shouted.

My sound lives where alt-pop choruses meet indie-rock guitars: big enough for 20,000 people, personal enough for one. If you've ever stayed for the encore with your voice gone, you already know what I do.

Biography

From choir risers to main stages

I started singing before I could talk anyone into lending me a guitar — third row of the church choir, loudest voice in the room.

Teenage years meant garage bands and borrowed amps. My twenties meant clubs: three sets a night, learning that a quiet verse earns a loud chorus. The first independent EP paid for a van; the van paid for a band; the band became The Midnight Frequency.

Wonderland — my debut full-length — was written on night buses and finished under festival lights. Now the Music Is My Language tour carries those songs to the biggest rooms I've ever played, with Maya Rivers joining on select dates.
